I've always approached advertising from the perspective of a consumer. Thinking through what people want, what it is that connects them with a product or experience, then finding ways to build upon and improve it. 

A few years ago I came across an amazing recording made with a binaural dummy head. It was clearly able to reproduce three-dimensional sound through any pair of headphones. I wondered if it was possible to reproduce the effect digitally to create a surround sound, home theater experience for people watching movies on their phones and tablets and set to try and make that experience better.

The result is SurroundPlayer, a video player for the iPad and iPhone that uses an algorithm to give any ordinary headphones the ability to reproduce surround sound. This is my solo project. I have developed every aspect of it, UX, design, animations, code. You can try it for yourself:
